“TEA CUP” CAKES

Five years ago, my friend @melli_burke asked me to make a birthday cake for her sweet daughter Q, making her my very first cake customer. So, when she asked me to bake something again, I immediately exclaimed, "yes!"

So happy to have been a part of her daughter's celebration by making these custom cupcakes perfect for a sunny SoCal tea party! The flavors were a special request from the birthday girl - chocolate cupcakes with strawberry buttercream and "opposite" red velvet cupcakes with chocolate buttercream. I love how sweet these turned out to be - both visually and in taste too! Happy Birthday Q!
